The German Vergabetag of the Deutschen Vergabenetzwerk (DVNW) brings public purchasers, employees in public procurement offices, representatives of the administration of justice, business, science and politics together on the current and important issues of public procurement.
The goal of this workshop is to inspire European, national, regional and local government officials and experts by presenting good practice case-studies on sustainable procurement, including green and social criteria.
As part of Mannheim2020, ICLEI is organising a lecture about „Socially responsible procurement” with Elin Seveholt (Advisor Sustainable Procurement, Stavanger Municipality) and David Salomonsen (Head of Special Taskforce on Social-Dumping, CSR-unit, Copenhagen Municipality).

The virtual workshop presents the results of the transnational project Low-CARB and provides information on funding opportunities. Target groups are public actors and organisations active in the fields of mobility and urban planning and interested in sustainable solutions.
